Over the course of 17 years, Kebha Straker has dedicated her career to serving seniors, accumulating substantial expertise in various capacities within the realm of senior care. Her professional journey encompasses roles as a nurse and an administrator, spanning diverse settings such as skilled nursing/subacute/long-term care facilities, home care services, independent living communities, dementia, and memory care units, hospital case management departments, hospice facilities, home health agencies, and mental health institutions.
As Director of Caregiver Services, Kebha brings to Strive Home Care a deep reservoir of knowledge in the areas of patient care and proper nursing procedures. Her diverse “real world” experience comes from having worked in virtually every area of senior care. Seeing the alarming decline in seniors, Kebha set out to challenge the status quo by directing her focus solely on providing quality in-home care for seniors.
Kebha Straker and Drew Avery started Strive Home Care because of their genuine passion for improving care by allowing seniors to stay at home. Their distinctive approach to home care has allowed seniors and their families a better, more affordable option to traditional senior care. With this single-minded approach, Strive has experienced remarkable growth primarily through the referrals of our happy seniors and families.
